Siddharth discovered his passion for photography in Bombay, India, where the quiet drama and studied aesthetic of his work was in contrast to the city’s frenzy and colour. After having worked as an assistant to advertising and commercial photographers, he went independent and worked for local magazines and advertising agencies. His interest in the local theatre scene led to him photographing many major theatrical productions and subsequently exhibiting this work.
He relocated to Dubai, UAE in 2004, where he worked as Photo Editor at Forbes Arabia magazine until 2008. Being naturally curious and genuinely interested in people, the cultural diversity of Dubai’s landscape cemented his interest in portrait photography. Siddharth has photographed for publications like The National, Institutional Investor, Businessweek, Grazia, Capital, Alberta Venture, The Financial Times, NOX, American Lawyer, Forbes Asia, Forbes Arabia, etc.
